Effective January 1, 2026 — how to report copyright infringement on Chordpedia.

Chordpedia respects the intellectual property rights of artists, songwriters, publishers, and other rights holders. We comply with applicable copyright laws and provide a clear process for reporting alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe that any content available on Chordpedia (website or app) infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request using the information below.

1. What Content Is Covered

This policy applies to content available on Chordpedia, including but not limited to:

  • Chords and chord charts
  • Tabs
  • User-submitted text or metadata
  • Artist-related content

To submit a valid copyright infringement notice, please provide all of the following information:

4. What Happens After Submission

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of applicable courts
  • Your name, contact information, and signature
