About Joint Family Internationale

We are Joint Family International (JFI), a reggae band from Kathmandu, Nepal, brought together by our shared love for music that carries messages of peace, unity, and positivity. Our journey began in 2008 and evolved into its present form in 2010, inspired by the global reggae movement and its power to connect people beyond borders. From the very beginning, our goal has been to create music that feels honest, uplifting, and rooted in togetherness.

Our sound blends classic reggae rhythms with our own Nepali influences, reflecting both the world we listen to and the place we come from. Influenced by legendary reggae artists, we shape our music around conscious lyrics, soulful grooves, and a strong sense of community. Our debut album One Good Thing and the song Netaji became important milestones for us, helping us reach a wider audience and establish our identity in the Nepali music scene.

Over the years, we have performed at major festivals and live shows across Nepal, sharing our music with diverse audiences and growing alongside them. For us, music is more than entertainment — it is a voice for expression, unity, and positive change.
