Despite having immense talent, Bidhan Shrestha has always believed in the importance of hard work, a principle he likely absorbed from his mentor, the legendary Ambar Gurung. Born on 7th Kartik, 2031 B.S., Shrestha has won the hearts of many with his powerful vocals, a testament to his relentless dedication to his craft. His music carries a unique quality that sets him apart, something that can be felt but not easily defined.
Recently, Bidhan returned to the spotlight with his latest single, "K Garchhau Maya," written by Avay Pandey and composed by Sunil Saha. He is set to make his solo debut at nepa~laya’s Paleti on May 26, a significant milestone in his two-decade-long career. “Performing at Paleti, where many artists I admire have performed, is special for me,” he shared, expressing excitement for his first solo concert.
Paleti coordinator Aavaas praised Shrestha's originality, describing him as one of the most talented artists of his generation. Bidhan, known for his folk and patriotic songs, was raised in a musical family, learning under his father, Bijay Shrestha, a respected musician and lyricist from Sunsari. His musical journey was further shaped by his training under Ambar Gurung.
