Built by musicians,
for musicians.
Nepal's home for guitar and ukulele chords — where every song finds its sound, and every musician finds their community.
We searched for
Nepali chords
and found nothing.
Like most Nepali music lovers, we grew up singing along to songs by Narayan Gopal, Arun Thapa, and the countless modern artists who define our musical identity. But when we picked up a guitar and tried to find chords for those songs, the internet came up empty.
In 2015, Dijup Tuladhar decided to fix that. What started as a small personal collection of chord charts turned into Chordpedia Nepal's most comprehensive library of Nepali guitar and ukulele chords. The goal was simple: make it easier for anyone, anywhere, to play the Nepali songs they love.
Today, with over 1,000 songs, 500+ artist profiles, and thousands of daily users across the globe, Chordpedia has grown into far more than a chord database. It is a community a living archive of Nepali music built by musicians, for musicians.

Music is a universal language.
Nepali music deserves the world.
Our mission is to make Nepali music accessible to every musician on the planet — beginner or pro, living in Kathmandu or abroad. Every chord we add, every lyric we transcribe, every artist profile we build brings us closer to a complete archive of Nepali musical heritage.
Open Access
Every chord, lyric, and feature on Chordpedia is free to use. Music belongs to everyone, and so does the knowledge to play it. No paywalls, no subscriptions — ever.
Community First
Chordpedia is built by musicians, for musicians. Our contributors — from students to seasoned players — are the heart of the platform. Every correction and addition makes it better for everyone.
Authenticity
We take Nepali music seriously. Every chord chart is reviewed for accuracy. Every artist profile is crafted with care. We are not a scraper — we are a community of people who love these songs.
Dijup Tuladhar
Founder & Developer
"I built the app I wished existed when I was learning guitar. A place where every Nepali song had a home."
Dijup is a software developer and musician based in Nepal. He built Chordpedia from scratch in 2015 out of a personal frustration — no reliable source of Nepali guitar chords existed. What started as a side project became Nepal's largest chord platform. He continues to develop the app, lead the contributor community, and push Nepali music onto the global stage.
